“Great personal style is a curiosity about yourself.”

Our story
Sky Meadows Vintage is a boutique founded and run by Julia and her husband, Kelly. They each come to vintage from their own passions — Kelly through books, comics, and sports, and Julia through clothing, design, and the joy of personal expression.
Julia founded Sky Meadows Vintage in 2011, but first fell in love with vintage much earlier as a teenager while exploring her own style. She was drawn to bold colours, playful patterns, and spaces filled with things that could lift her mood or spark imagination. She has never believed in following just one era or aesthetic, but loves mixing old and new, high and low, practical and whimsical. Vintage doesn’t have to be all or nothing. Sometimes, one special piece is enough to create a joyful little moment in your day.
That same philosophy shapes Sky Meadows Vintage. Clothing and objects should feel expressive. They should invite creativity, build confidence, and bring beauty into everyday life. A dress, a mirror, or a perfectly worn book can become more than an item — it can become a story you get to live inside.
Sustainability is a natural part of this. Conserving and restoring vintage gives meaningful pieces a second life. In a world driven by micro-trends and disposability, Julia and Kelly believe in choosing things with soul — pieces that were made to last and meant to be loved again.
The Sky Meadows Vintage boutique is inspired a little bit by what Julia imagines California to be like — kitschy Palm Springs pastel shades mixed with Hollywood Regency glamour: fun, bright, maximalist, and just a little bit alluring. Think sun-drenched days, sparkling nights, and vintage with bold personality.
Picked with care
Julia chooses pieces that she personally loves, and hopefully speaks to the customers as well. She doesn’t limit herself to just a single aesthetic or era, and mixes freely between the feminine and ornate treasures of the 1950s, the sleek and minimal modern items of the 1960s, the bright and vibrant prints of the 1970s,… she can also hardly resist a sparkly 1980s clothing piece.
Julia carefully curates from many local sources including estates, through consignment, garage sales, and thrift stores to bring these special items into one convenient location just for you. You can find Julia most often in the Sky Meadows Vintage boutique located in a house built in 1936, located in Chilliwack, B.C. or at an occasional market in the Lower Mainland area of British Columbia, Canada.
